How do you get you bottle of wine to your dinner table?

Can you have the room steward send it to the dining room?

We always just took it with us to the dining room the night we wanted to drink it. If you're taking a bottle of white, you can take it in the night before, and they'll chill it for you and have it on the table the next evening.

jdleong - You can bring one bottle wine onboard, per adult in your carry-on without any problem. If you want to take it to the Dining room, carry it with you. There's a $10 corkage fee if you bring your own wine - they may or may not charge you. They will hold the unfinished wine for you until the next meal. wine in the dining room is $6 to $9+ per glass. ken

Take a corkscrew and open it in the room before you go to dinner and avoid that fee.

Can you uncork your own bottle without being frowned upon? Just bring it and set it on the table? I like that idea!:)
