sweet sheep Posted November 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2008 I have been on several HAL shiips but always have an ocean view or a balcony. Will be on Eurodam next week and unfortunately will be in a inside stateroom. I understand that there are no bathtubs in the inside rooms as there are in the others. what size is the shower? Is it as small as they were several years ago in most cruise ships? I am hoping that because Eurodam is bigger and newer that the shower might be a little larger? Please respond if you have been on Eurodam to see one and many thanks:)
RuthC Posted November 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2008 As a comfirmed cave dweller, I've been in inside cabins on most HAL ships. Every one of them has an generous size shower. The old joke about soaping down the sides of the shower, then spinning around, does not work on HAL ships. There's also a clothesline in the shower if you need to rinse out your delicates. sheephugs Posted November 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2008 They are quite snug. I found myself banging my head on the vertical grip bar every time I bent over to shave legs. i think I was used to the more generous size ones with the bathtubs. Mary Ellen Posted November 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2008 We did fine the size of our cabin shower on the E'dam to be smaller than those of other HAL ships on which we have sailed. How it compares to the size of showers on other lines, I do not know.
