cruisyjulie Posted December 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2008 We are on the New Year's sailing of the Solstice and are traveling with a family that has a 15 year old daughter. Does anybody know what age category she will fall in? Is it 13-17 or broken up into 13-14 and 15-17 or 13-15 and 16-17. Also, what time do organized evening activities start for this age group? Any information would be appreciated.
beerrun Posted December 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Just returned from Solstice, you could count the teens on one hand. The holiday sailing may be different though. Good luck.

I have been on the celebrity sailings during the holiday season before and i don't remember them splitting it into 13-14 and 15-17 but there are always TONS of teens. from what I remember, the activities start at around 10 in the morning. I'm not 100% sure though (I went on azamara quest last year). It should be tons of fun!!!
cavkc Posted December 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2008 We have been on a Christmas / New Year cruise on Millennium and there were a huge amount of teens onboard. Our two boys had a fabulous time. Evening activities started around 7pm and finished around 1am.
monn_a Posted December 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2008 We were on the inaugural and one of my friends had two kids 11 and 12, the 11 yr old was in a group from 9-11 and the 12 yr old was in a group 12-16 (maybe 17). But on the inaugural there weren't a lot of children, I would think, as other have stated the Holiday cruises would have more.
