dry snorkel problem

my husband and i have had the same costco snorkel set for about 2 years. on our last trip his snorkel would close off the air even without any water being in it. can it be fixed, cleaned,etc or should I just buy a new one? mine still works fine.

These are all different design and by different manufacturers. If you can find the manufacturer I'd check their web site or give them a call and see if they can help. Personally, I'd just buy a new one than take a chance on a bad snorkel ruining a snorkeling day. My chances to snorkel in a nice spot are so few and far between!

From Costco it probably is by Body Glove.

 

After 2 years, there probably isn't any more warranty. Could it be fixed? If you can easily find something that can be done then try. Otherwise it's not a lot of money to buy a good new snorkel.
