Internet in manzanillo

We will be cruising on the Spirit scheduled to be in Manzanillo Jan 12 and my son and his friend have to complete online registration for college.

I know they can stay on the ship but I hear it is expensive and very slow. Las Hadas Resort's website says it has dialup for a fee but there has been no response to my email yet to verify speed and cost.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

If you are headed to Las Hadas, you will go past several places that offer high speed internet, including Starbucks.

The "main drag" is Blvd Miguel de Madrid which has several copier places that have internet. My choice would be Digital Center, which is located near Hotel Marbella. It's $2/hour (the sign says $20, but that's pesos!) and they also have printers.

I know they open around 9am but they might close between 2-4 for siesta.

I can't imagine that las hadas still has dial up- it would take forever! My daughter had to register on our last cruise but we were at sea and had no choice but to use the ship's internet. ($$$) We were also in a different time zone so she and her dad were up at 3am!!

Good Luck- let me know if you have any other questions. We'll be in Manzanillo during your visit- I'll say hi to all the cruisers when we're out and about:)
