Maybe. The Radiance class ships (of which Serenade is one) used to have a program called CyberCabin. I've read that it has been discontinued, but have also read that it hasn't. When we sailed on Radiance in 2007, it was available.

 

You rent a cable from Guest Services at a fixed price for the cruise (about $10/night). The connection is a little slower than dialup speed, so it can be frustrating. For me, it worked to log in, check emails, shower and get dressed while they loaded, log off, reply to whatever, log back in and go to breakfast while they were sent.
