critterchick Posted December 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Maybe. The Radiance class ships (of which Serenade is one) used to have a program called CyberCabin. I've read that it has been discontinued, but have also read that it hasn't. When we sailed on Radiance in 2007, it was available. You rent a cable from Guest Services at a fixed price for the cruise (about $10/night). The connection is a little slower than dialup speed, so it can be frustrating. For me, it worked to log in, check emails, shower and get dressed while they loaded, log off, reply to whatever, log back in and go to breakfast while they were sent. Lightsluvr Posted December 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2008 If your cabin is close to a ship's Wi-Fi hotspot, you will be able to use your laptop that way. If not, there are many hotspots throughout the ship that are very convenient, including the Centrum, library, LA lounge, and more. LL
