Best beach with shade or umbrellas

Sea Grape Beach (part of 7 mile beach, I think) also has chairs and umbrellas for rent, along with wave-runners & stuff. There's also a small bar & grill type place there. We enjoyed it. It's also about a $5 van ride each way.

We have rented a hotel room with a day rate. We checked in at 8AM and

out by 4PM. You only pay about 1/2 the normal rate or so. You have

access to the hotel, room, pool and a shower.

The beaches on 7 mile are great....

I went to Sea Grape on my last trip to Cayman back in April. I had a blast .... Beautiful water. I rented a chair and a Floating mat. Spent the entire day on the mat in the water.

Enjoy your day in Cayman !!!

I'm pretty sure that is the Marriott. I have read posts on this site that have mentioned the price but I don't remember what it was. If you do a search you may find it. I personally wouldn't pay more to use the beach at a hotel when I can get almost all of the same facilities at Reef Grill/Royal Palms or Sea Grape for much less money. I haven't been to Sea Grape but in my opinion the beach at Reef Grill/Royal Palms is much nicer then at the Marriott and I am a beach person - not interested in using a pool when I can be on the beach!

I hope this helps!

Enjoy!
