Morningstar

we were there last month and left. No chairs. Rocky and choppy water and the staff at the Marriott were unfriendly and unhelpful. Wasted taxi fare times 5 of us. Had been told the kids could rent jet skis there and when we got there it was $150 for one hour guided tour per kid (times three!). Ended up at Emerald. see other posts re: Emerald.

We were there in mid-November. Lovely as always. Beach was virtually empty. No problem renting chairs and unmbrella. Staff came around and offered opprtunity to order lunch or drinks. We had lunch at the beach bar. Water was wonderfully warm with mild surf. No problem getting cab back to ship from hotel lobby when we were done.

We have done Morningstar for last 4 trips to St Thomas. It is our little beach secret - clean, uncrowded, quiet.

I highly recommend.

maybe we just hit them on a bad day, but I wouldn't go back after finding Emerald. Better cab ride (no mountains/hills to climb over). Loved Sapphire a few years ago when we were there, but won't do the cab ride again.
