ISO Miami hotel?

We're going with another couple in the spring and looking to book something not OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive (around $150/night). Are there any hotels out there that have 2 queens/allow 4 people per room? Also, any suggestions on where to go that's fun to eat and drink in the evening? Is there anywhere near where the cruiseline (Carnival) departs?

Thanks!

can you give them a mile radius from downtown where you'd want to stay? or do they kind of book you wherever randomly?

You select a zone which is identified by a shaded region on their maps; your hotel can be anywhere within that zone. The Downtown zone is the one closest to the pier.

I would think you would be able to get something at the beach through PL for your budget. I think the beach area has much more to do/see/eat/drink than downtown, where you are limited to Bayside in the immediate vicinity.
