@jengamom I have been in the YC inside solo and found it very comfortable. This was my first inside in 30+ cruises and I was apprehensive but it was all good. In fact will be in aYC inside tomorrow so it worked for me enough to book it again. Enjoy your cruise and the Yacht Club.

If booking yourself as the 2nd person in the cabin you pay double the fare, minus port taxes. Different than a ghost booking which I dont recommend for above feason.

@Morgsmom Am booking a shuttle from MCO to the port and wondering which time to choose. Were no vehicles allowed into the port before 11? Or was it the parking garage? Dont want to sit in traffic in shuttle van if I dont have to.

I uave also been able to book with MSC phone agent by putting my name as the first and second passenger. It was the agent's idea, not mine.

It was a couple of hears ago so prices I'm sure have increased, but it was 150€ for the day.

We prebooked a taxi tour where the driver took us for the day to several stops, with a wonderful lunch in the Plaka. He took us first to the Acropolis, where the line was not long because it was early. It was a great day! Liked him so much we had him take us on a tour to Corinth on our next trip. $2900 for 2 people in YC for a week is a REALLY good deal. And if I read your posts correctly, you would be saving cost of drink package,wifi and cabana. This would offset the upgrade cost.

For a week that is average to good price. Its not the steal that Aurea is for that week. Whether its worth paying that much more for is entirely subjective.

I second recommendation for YC. If Aurea price was a steal then maybe YC not much more. Totally worth it and lesx than cost of a week in WDW.

Yes. When the grill is open you can get a coffee there. I do that every morning. I dont remember what time it opens. If earlier than that your butler can bring you coffee.

I find I have muchbetter chance of solo booking the farther out I book.

You can tour the spa. Did the thermal suite on Meraviglia and it was lovely.

No reservations necessary for YC. They have reserved seating.

The larger YIN may be handicapped cabins

@RonanandAlex If its within your budget try the YC. Best experience I've had in over 30 cruises.

I have cancelled and rebooked and there was no change fee. I did lose a small OBC. The cancellation policy is similar to other cruise lines, there is a penalty after final payment which increases as the sail date approaches. Do your research, MSC is different than RC, which for me is a good thing. Having checked prices for Icon recently, I can stay in YC for less, also a good thing.

Loved the Electra Palace, ! Highly recommend it. Had a suite with terrace and Acropolis view.
