njoy2cruz Posted December 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2008 We stopped at Labadee a couple of years ago and our boys loved cooling off and playing at the kids water park (Luc's Splash Bash). We will be stopping in Labadee again in February and wanted to book this for the boys again, but it didn't come up on the RCI shore excursion site. Is this water park no longer there? Or did it not show up because they had already sold out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted December 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2008 There is a kind of large child's area or playground that has a sign about "Labadee Luc", a pirate (fictional?) and has a story about his life. When you gte off the tender boat just go straight across Labadee. You will head right for that area. I do not know of there is still a charge to use it. It may, in fact, not carry a charge at this time. I really don't know for sure.
njoy2cruz Posted December 23, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted December 23, 2008 Thanks for the reply HeavySurf. That would be great if there was no longer a charge. My kids would be thrilled.
mug Posted December 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2008 We were at Labadee in Jan 08 on MOS. There is a splash area/play area for kids to the left of the tender docks. There is no charge for it. It is close to the restrooms and the bar too. It is about smack dab in the middle of the peninsula that Labadee is on. Our son (now eight) loved it; played there for hours quite contentedly. Be careful of the sun, though. It was our first day off the boat and there is no shade in the splash park. No serious consequences, but he had a real headache and it cost us $20 for liquid Tylenol at the MD office on the boat! (the ONE thing that we forgot to pack!)
