SATXLady Posted December 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2008 I know I have read on here that if you book for two and later want to add a third person that the price for the third person may end up being more than the first two if the price has gone up. What if I book for three and the third person ends up cancelling? Would the price each for the first two remain the same or would they re-price them? As a rough example, maybe I book for three with price at time of booking being $500 each for first two and $400 for third. If the third person cancels and in the meantime, the price has gone up to $600 per person for first two in same category. Would first two still be priced at $500 each or would they then have to pay $600 each? Thanks.
crzndeb Posted December 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2008 The 1st and 2nd person rates always remain the same.....the 3rd and 4th rates are discounted. If the 3rd or 4th cancel, the first 2 rates are still be the same. You will still get the original price you booked at. It will not change if the price goes up. yearnin4cruisin Posted December 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 25, 2008 Yes, I agree. The only thing that might change is your cabin assignment. They may move you to a room that only accommodates two people so they can sell the original cabin for three.
