39august Posted December 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2008 We have a Bodden tour reserved for us and our mid-thirties kids and their spouses. Can anyone suggest other places to see or things to do besides zipline, butterfly farm, scenic drive, West Bay, and West End? Not interested in Victor's monkeys or the iguana farm. How good is Victor's zip line? Has anyone been able to go to the Nature Conservancy (or whatever the correct name is) to see the dolphins?
gacruisers5 Posted December 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2008 Five of us (mid-forties parents and our three kids 15,17, and 21) just returned from Roatan and did the zip-lining tour with beach option through www.roatancruiseexcursions.com. It was great! We did the zip-lining at South Shore Canopy and then went to West Bay Beach for about an hour. It was the highlight of the trip! Our kids couldn't believe we booked such an awesome tour. And West Bay Beach is beautiful with clear water and soft sand.
shadwellal Posted January 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2009 We did a glass bottom boat trip with snorkelling from the boat - organised by Victor Bodden - it was a small boat for about 12 people, and we were out for about 90 minutes. I'd highly recommend it but only if you like snorkelling.
