Awsome Deal for Military Veterans, retirees, or active duty

I was searching for cruises and found this deal at cruise.com 8 day on Carnival Miracle starting at $254 for inside room for February 1st sailing. If I could only get my wife off of the RCI kick she is on. We could get balcony rooms for $700 less than an intereior on RCI in March.

Oh well, maybe in 2010 if I can find a similiar deal.

it is for me. Unfortunately, money does not matter as much to the wife. She wants her cruise. Oh well, maybe I can talk her into it. SHe could have an 8 day cruise and an extra couple of days at the beach for the same price as what she is looking at.

Tell your DW that we just did the Miracle Southern itinerary 2 months ago, and it's an awesome ship with a fantastic crew! :D

I was checking our April cruise ealier today. It had dropped below its previous lowest price. I called and received a rate reduction.

The military rate on this 8 day cruise on the Freedom has been all over the place.

I booked it at $991./pp for a 8a. Lowest I had before was $911/pp. Then they dropped the fuel surcharge. Last week, it was up over $1000./pp. Today it is going for $864./pp.

Miracle is down because Carnival sent one of the cruises that just got back to he Western Caribbean that should have gone to Panama. I was expecting prices to fall from cancellations, so this doesnt surprise me. The ship is supposed to be fixed during Jan, it has had mechanical problems.

Pricing is crazy right now. I hate to pass up a good cruise deal, but it looks like I have to. I would keep up to date on pricing every couple of days. They are changing throughout the day some times. The lines added to much capacity too quickly. They will have to offer discount rates to fill ships.

At least that explains why sailings in January are showing call for details. That also explains the low pricing. I guess there would be the possibility of booking it and the ship not being fixed. I would never live that down. I always expect to pay about $400 more for RCI than carnival in most cases.
