mjc4432 Posted December 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2008 We are planning a cruise in Aug. to Alaska and are considering bringing our kids ages 7 and 9. Will there be enough to keep them busy on this ship?
junglejane Posted December 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2008 We were on the Infinity to Alaska in 2006 when our kids were 5 and 9. We also took them on the Summit (sister ship of the Infinity) to the Mediterranean this summer when they were 7 and 11. They had a great time on both ships. Celebrity doesn't have ice skating rinks or rock climbing walls, but it does have a very good kids program. Our younger daughter in particular wanted to stay at the Fun Factory virtually every hour it was open. --Junglejane
rebeccalouise Posted December 29, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2008 Yes, the fun factory is great and I think Celebrity does a great job with the 7-9 age group.
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 29, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2008 They will have a wonderful time. When our kids were young we took them on two Celebrity cruises of Alaska (after doing many other cruises with Celebrity). There will be a sufficient number of children on board. It's a great place for the children to see. Keith
