gkrebs Posted April 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Unless things have changed, there is a grand Buffet on the last night or last formal night and a buffet at the pool party Gary Explorer of the Seas 10/24/04 Dawn Princess 10/12/03 Voyager of the Seas 12/01/02 Adventurer of the Seas 4/21/02 Sea Breeze 06/98 Atlantis 06/70 Time to Set Sail

Corkle Posted April 21, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted April 21, 2004 The dessert buffet is the one I was wondering about! So it IS seperate from the big midnight buffet. Does anyone know what night this one is on? Thanks! Happy Sailing!! Family of 14 Posted April 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2004 I looked in my Compass from September's Western AOS cruise and the Gala bugget was on Day 5 (Thursday). Don't know if this was just dessert or not. Adventure Girl Posted April 23, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I was on the Adventure of the Seas in March 04 and we had the informal "midnight" buffet poolside on the 3rd night from 11:30 pm to 1:00 a.m. Then, on the 2nd formal night, the gala buffet was held in the dining room at "midnight".....which means that you can "view" the "midnight" buffet from 11:30 pm to 12:15 a.m., but you cannot eat at the "midnight" buffet until 12:30 a.m. There wasn't a "dessert buffet" specifically, but at both of these buffet events there were tables and tables of beautiful desserts. bplazo Posted April 23, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I have never done any of the midnight buffets, I am still full from dinner and I can never stay awake that long! 1cruise2U Posted April 24, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 24, 2004 ? If buffet is on formal night, are you supposed to wear your formal dress, since it takes place in the dining room
Adventure Girl Posted April 24, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 24, 2004 No, not at all. Most people change from their formal wear after dinner or after the show. Shorts and T-shirts for the midnight buffet. Kimberly Monarch of the Seas 4/02 Disney Wonder 11/02 Adventure of the Seas 10/03, 3/04 "Girl's Getaway" on Mariner of the Seas 11/7/04 !!
