Kurbanfan Posted December 31, 2008 #76 Share Posted December 31, 2008 What about sleigh bells and red bows is equal to Christmas? Both are secular. Sleigh bells is a Christmas song, and as far as the red bow......they had a ship wrapped as a Christmas present.........

pe4all Posted January 1, 2009 #80 Share Posted January 1, 2009 Just got off Miracle "Christmas" cruise. Ship was decorated for... Christmas. But they had a menorah (it was also Hanukah) and each evening at 5:15 they had a "candle lighting" with songs, latkes, fruit, challah, Manashevitz (sp) wine. The first night there were about 20 people there. By the last night, over 100 showed up to enjoy the food and festivities - many had never "celebrated" Hanukah- most freely admitted they were not Jewish... but the holiday spirit invaded the ship at every turn, and, for a few minutes each evening, no matter religious beliefs anyone had, all came together to celebrate and enjoy. It was a pleasure to see!

Friggie Posted September 9, 2009 #83 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Why would anyone who enjoys Christmas go on a cruise that week?:confused::confused: Well my family enjoys Christmas very much and we are going on a cruise this Christmas and very excited to do so. There are 8 of us going from BC Canada and Kalispell Montana. It will be the first time in many years that my Mom will have all three of her grandkids together for Christmas. So see Christmas will be just as special for us this year.
