carmal Posted January 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2009 We are flying into Miami the day before our cruise, but for our return flight we will go right from the ship to the airport. Is it necessary to book a ride beforehand or are there plenty of taxis ready to go? There will be 6 of us.
KenMo Posted January 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2009 You can purchase a Carnival transfer at the purser's (which I avoid at all costs) once on the ship. There will be cabs outside the terminal.
yst347 Posted January 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2009 From the Port of Miami to MIA a cab is the cheapest and easiest way to go for two or more people. Cabs are waiting at the terminal and the fare runs about $24. It takes about 15 minutes on a Saturday or Sunday morning to make the trip by cab. cb at sea Posted January 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2009 Plenty of cabs--they'll be lined up and waiting!
SouthernCaribbean Posted January 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2009 There are also several shuttle vans that charge $9 pp waiting outside.
