Cinderose Posted January 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2009 If you Prepay for an excursion through Carnival and it rains can you cancel it and get your $$ credited back?
NCTribeFan Posted January 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Not unless the excursion is cancelled. Many of them operate even if the weather isn't ideal. SouthernCaribbean Posted January 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2009 It really depends who is at the shore ex desk. Someone at my dining table said they got their money back, when it was raining in SXM. She was very cute, so Im sure that had something to do with it :p I wouldnt count on it happening often, plus most of the rain showers dont last that long. Duncarob Posted January 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2009 You may cancel more than 24 hours in advance of arrival in port, less 25% cancellation fee.
SouthernCaribbean Posted January 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2009 You may cancel more than 24 hours in advance of arrival in port, less 25% cancellation fee. How can you ever be 100% sure its going to rain a day in advance?
Duncarob Posted January 8, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Well, you can watch the weather reports and if rain or a storm is forecast, cancel the day before.
SouthernCaribbean Posted January 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Well, you can watch the weather reports and if rain or a storm is forecast, cancel the day before. If you did that, most people would cancel. Rain is often forecast and either never happens or lasts 10-15mins. We call it liquid sunshine. Growing up in Antigua we didnt really check the weather, outside of hurricane season.
