Dubai to Dubai

Thinking of doing a Dubai roundtrip in March and was wondering if anyone has done this cruise and if so what are the ports like and did you enjoy it.

We did Dubai to Mumbai a year ago and went to a lot of those ports. Khasab was a highlight. We did the dhow cruise down the Fjords. It was a great experience.

 

We went early to Dubai and stayed at the Jumeriah Beach hotel, sister to the Burj al Arab. We loved it there. They had a nice beach and an interesting (included) waterpark. They also had a neat "food around the world" restaurant. We did the desert safari thru Silversea, and we really enjoyed that. I'm glad we saw Muscat, Fujairah, Sharjah, and some of the others, and this is one area that we were glad we stayed with the ship. In Dubai, I'd be fine going again and doing whatever by ourselves, though.

We have done that itinerary and will be doing it again next month also. The ports are exotic in the sense that they don't look like any place else. Give it a try.

Hi Duct tape - which cruiseline are your doing it with next month as I cannot see it on the silversea website for February which would suit us better.
