Odyssey Maiden Voyage Availability

Seabourn's website shows availability in all categories up to OW, with no discount whatsoever. I thought the Maiden Voyage was sold out. What gives?

The Odyssey Maiden was sold out a few months ago. I think Sailor's are rethinking their future voyages ~~folks are beginning to start planning their cruises more carefully. (including me)

The lowest rate on the Odyssey Maiden voyage for a balcony is $15,732.

For solo Sailor's the price would almost double ~~and for a couple, $31,000 ~~still $$'s for air fare, hotels, and excursions.

I think those prices have a lot to do with the "vacancy" sign being out. Thanks.

Several months ago I had heard the Odyssey Maiden Transatlantic Crossing had sold out ~~but in Nov. during our Pride TA Crossing good friends of mine decided they wanted to join us ~~they booked while aboard. I understand there are still suites available for this voyage ~~even on Deck 5.

With the economy so uncertain folks are simply going to be loyal to their "pocketbooks!"

I think once final payment is due in late March even more suites will be available. I understand the special experience of a maiden cruise but not at 0% discount from highly inflated brochure prices.
