Kajunswty Posted April 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Since they are charging now for juice what are they serving in the windjammer? I am trying to decide if I should get a soda card for my daughters. Is fruit punch and lemonaid available all the time? Are juices still available through room service? aqusis Posted April 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2004 You can get free juice in the windjammer and dining room with your meal. The charge is if you get it from a bar, lounge, etc. Lemonade, iced tea and coffee are free and available in the Windjammer. superjerryw Posted April 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Lemonade is usually only available in the Windjammer during lucnh and snack time hours. If you go to the Windjammer right before dinner for example when they are not serving a meal there will not be any lemonade or fruit punch. Donuts, is there anything they can't do.... jkrislc Posted April 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Lemonaid, water, and ice tea were readily available in the Windjammer for all meals. If you ask kindly, you can even get milk from the beverage station attendant without a charge. Juice is usually not available after breakfast, however. Juice and milk were listed as available through room service 24 hours a day. setsail Posted April 22, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2004 It amazes me how cruisers can be on the ship and say something is not available. Outside the windjammer towards the pool you can get ice,ice tea, water, orange juice, lemonade, coffee, and milk on tap(while coffee is there)almost 24 hrs. a day. When the windjammer is open,breakfast-2 kinds of juice, coffee, water, milk. Lunch-sodas in glass, ice tea, coffee, lemonade. Room service, all of this just pay the tip.Dining room(dinner)coffee, ice tea, water. All of this for the price of your cruise and room service is 24-7 so you can get it. Cruiser-66 Posted April 22, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2004 I don't consider this post a waste of time. Beverages vary on different cruise lines. Can you still get soda, free of charge with your meal in the dinning room? What about the Windjammer? Luv 2 Cruz

aqusis Posted April 22, 2004 #11 Share Posted April 22, 2004 No free soda anywhere. You either have to purchase the soda card or buy by the glass/can. However, if you do purchase a fountain soda in the dining room, you get free refills during your meal. Mariner of the Seas
Kajunswty Posted April 22, 2004 Author #12 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Thanks everyone for your replies well, except easternLIers Why did you waste our time by posting??? I know exactly what is offered and where on CCL but it's been along time since my RCCL cruise and it was a weekender. I remembered seeing something awhile back about juice being included on the soda card so I was curious. Thanks again ~ everyone have a great day!! marciemi Posted April 23, 2004 #14 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Sorry to keep beating this, but can you get lemonade in the dining room (not Windjammer)? I plan to get my kids soda cards, but would prefer they not have it at dinner. Haven't seen this answered before. We have never cruised RCCL before and have no way of knowing what is available and what is not. Keep the info coming. Thanks
