chucklet Posted January 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2009 We travelled aboard the Jewel recently, and the staterooms 'SEEMED' smaller than on other ships. NCL doesn't post the areas of the rooms on there website, as other lines do. Can anyone tell me the size of the staterooms (Balcony and Oceanview?) Pretend you are booking a cruise on Jewel, any sailing. Go to the NCL.com website, and when you get to the "choose your stateroom" page put in any one of the balcony categories. When it shows you the individual cabins available, click on one of them (the cabin #). A list of the amenities of that cabin and its square footage will appear. You can do this with any or all of the BA, BB, BC etc. to see if there is any appreciable difference. Then do the same with ocean views. Pay particular attention to not only the square footage, but whether the window is a port hole or a real window, or if it has a fridge. You may have to book a particular category to get the amenities you want in your cabin (don't know if this is true on Jewel, but it was on Majesty). ecclectic-eccentric Posted January 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Go to another travel site like expedia and search there. I'm pretty sure they list square feet. It can be a little confusing though, as sometimes the balcony area is included in the total and sometimes it isn't. ee
