Aniversary celebrations

Hi

i was thinking of maybe booking some wine for the room on our aniversary or breakfast in bed;) looked at the thompsons website and see the do celebration packages along these lines . Would i be better booking now or wait till i'm on the ship (DESTINY)?

For wine, chocs, breakfast in bed etc you should be fine requesting it on the ship. We are having a blessing at sea on our Caribbean Cruise so have booked this in advance.

We pre booked the Celebration package as a surprise for my parents on our New Year cruise. By pre booking it meant the champagne, flowers and strawberries were in their cabin on the first day. The celebration host contacted them on the ship to arrange when they wanted the breakfast. We could have booked the package for the same price once on the ship. However I was glad that we had pre booked because it meant they got the full benefit of the flowers in the cabin all week. It would have been a shame to have had them later in the week and to have left them behind still in full bloom.

We spoke to a honeymoon couple who had had a blessing at sea on Destiny and they had a fabulous day: they had the Blessing on the bridge as the sun set with drinks and photos, they then had dinner at the Captain's table, then he escorted them into the show where they had reserved seats with the Captain for the evening. Captain Psarrakis on Destiny is lovely!!

OH . hadn't really thought about going all out on a blessing at sea maybe incase my O H decides to divorce me when he gets the chance in front of an official:D but it now becoming an option as it sounds really nice might have to enquire further !
