Island Princess- Internet

How is the wireless on the Island. Will be doing the Panama Canal next month and thinking of taking my laptop. We are Platinum members now so will have some free minutes.

It wasn't the best or the worst in that part of the world when we went although things can change with atmospheric conditions.

Did you use wifi in the cabin or go to the internet cafe?

 

We are also cruising the Island next month and are debating whether to bring a laptop for in-cabin use.

We were in cabin E310 & if I remember correctly I had a signal on my Itouch but I used the Internet cafe during the cruise.

I was in D715 and had good service in the cabin. I had a couple of interruptions but since I just basically emailed, it wasn't such a big deal.

 

I wouldn't want to upload 60 pics to facebook or anything like that but for the small one shot deals it was great!
