jakieemma Posted January 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I read about the Bubba Kegs being the mug of choice. I looked on their web site and E-Bay..they were anywhere from $13.-$15. w/shipping. I went to Wal-Mart on Saturday and found them for $2.25 !!!! That was the big boy too !!! travelntreats Posted January 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Just check out WalMart, Target, Dollar Stores, etc... I am sure you will find one with the capacity that meets your needs for a whole lot less $$ and more ounces than what you can purchase onboard !
alphakitty Posted January 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Any insulated mug will do....and I think they discontinued the passion guava juice at breakfast. :( We didn't have it last time we cruised on Carnival. Oh and thanks for reminding me to add a coffee mug to my packing list. :D
lmtrn2001 Posted January 20, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2009 We found quart sized insulated mugs w/ lids at Wal-mart for our last Cruise. It was great!!! Whatever juice or even softserve ice cream we wanted to use as a mixer, we just filled our mugs and were in business. No one ever said anything to us about it.:D
kjunea Posted January 20, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I always buy some cheap ones at Wallyworld or elsewhere, pack them in the suitcase and then leave them before we return, so I'll have space for souvenirs, etc. No one says boo to me about filling it up with lemonade, etc.

klmorg Posted January 20, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Insulated mugs are also a must for us... we use them for coffee in the morning, then on to the daily beverages and cocktails. We also got ours at WalleyWorld for about $5 each.
happy cruzin Posted January 20, 2009 #9 Share Posted January 20, 2009 We use a couple of 20 ounce Starbucks insulated mugs. They are perfect for coffee in the morning and cold beverages the rest of the day!! They keep things hot or cold for a really long time. Ours are kinda like this one that is currently available on line...

I tried then a couple of years ago and the ones I found leaked and did not keep the coffee hot for very long :(. Other ones that I picked up at Target melted in the dishwasher . So...I gave up and got the ones at Starbucks :o.

I did see those in November when we were on the Splendor - they are pretty snazzy. I do think they would work well - if we did not already have ours.
