Just got off the Triumph yesterday on a Western Carribean Cruise. Had an outside cabin on the LIDO deck with a balcony. Loved my room, hated the food at night, except for Lobster night. The cabin steward was awesome, the dinner staff was boring and appeared overworked! Occassional sewer smell in public areas, great breakfast in Paris room, lunch is an overcrowded free for all! I would definitely recommend a newer ship...

I have a room upcoming on the Triumph on Lido... glad you liked the deck. Is the crowding for buffet because of massive children/spring breakers/etc.? Did it seem to be a problem with the flow and lack of serving stations, or was it the people just being pushy/wandering/etc?

Probably a Spring Break issue, they did not appear to be short staffed, however, all staff members besides our cabin steward could have used a ****** or 2. The young woman who seats you in the Paris dining room for breakfast, who I affectionately refer to as the table ****, is so unfriendly and rigid about your entire party being their before you are seated that it made it stressful to meet people at breakfast. There were a few bartenders by the pool on the lido deck who also were downright rude, and I asked nicely! I would definitely eat breakfast in the Paris room! Much better than the cattle call at breakfast and lunch. The sandwich grill is the best option for lunch in my opinion! Have fun!
