Livorno - San Gimignano & Siena excursion driver recommendations please

Hi,

 

Can anyone recommend reasonably-priced drivers for the above towns (are there any port-side tour operators that sell this excursion?!?)? We're not looking for official tour guides but more someone to get us there and back and perhaps provide us with general information and suggestions along the way.

 

I understand that the cheapest would likely be a mini-bus of 8, but getting this many might be a challenge so 4 or 6 would probably be more realistic.

 

BTW, if there are any seasonal discounts, this will be in mid-November.

Hi,

 

I would highly recommend you contact Claudio Caponera of limoinrome. This past April we did an all day tour with one of his driver/ guides out of Livorno to Siena and San Gimignano. He was very nice and professional. We had a van for the 8 of us . We also did another tour out of Civitavecchia to Orvieto. Again, excellent driver/guide.
