Review Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach

A new and very nice property. Totally non-smoking. We were upgraded to a Jr. Suite with a great view of the intracoastal and beach. Our room included the buffet breakfast. Very nice. We had dinner at Casablanca Cafe (within walking distance) and highly recommend the restaurant. We were a group of 9 so we set up our transportation from the airport and then to port everglades with Quality Limo Service (QLS) it was $9 each for each trip including the tip. The hotel is not as close to port everglades as some others but we really wanted to be on the beach.

Was it hard to cross the street to the beach? Have read elsewhere that traffic is heavy there and its hard to get across the street by hotel.

There is a wide pedestrian crosswalk and the traffic stops for you. I didn't think it was too bad for adults. Everything in that section of Ft. Lauderdale beach is across the street.
