cruisebie Posted January 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Which ships have the mongolian grill? I'm thinking about cruises for this summer and I know my dd would like this option if it's available.
dvan68 Posted January 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2009 It was on the Valor.
TheVegasMan Posted January 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2009 If this is where you get the egg rolls and other asian foods, there was one on the Victory, lido deck inside the buffet area on the starboard side.

cruisebie Posted January 26, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Anyone know about the Freedom? I read reviews that it was there and another that it wasn't but they didn't miss it? Also, what about the smaller ships such as the Fantasy class? I noticed on the Lido deck plans for the Fantasy a small square that said Mongolian, but I've never heard anyone mention it in a review. Thanks to all who have replied! Good info for the Liberty & Valor!:)

Thanks to all who have replied! Good info for the Liberty & Valor!:) Hmmm...I was on the Freedom and I dont think they did. Vegas Man seems to be describing the Asian place across from the deli which is on all Conquest class ships. On the other hand, the Mongolian grill is only on certain ships...and instead of that, on the Freedom there was the Tandoori grill, which in my opinion was wonderful! schultz Posted January 26, 2009 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Yes it was on the Freedom last year. It is in the middle buffet. You pick all your vegetables & pass them to the chef, tell him what meat you want & what type of sauce, then he stir fries the whole lot.

cruisebie Posted January 26, 2009 Author #11 Share Posted January 26, 2009 The fact sheet says it does. Could you link me to the fact sheet? I looked at the one on the Carnival site, but didn't see that it listed the Mongolian Grill.
David148 Posted January 26, 2009 #12 Share Posted January 26, 2009 The Destiny has "Happy Valley" and "The Trattoria" listed on the lido deck in the buffet areas. Could anyone tell me what kind of food is served here? I'm guessing Happy Valley would be Asian.? Thanks, David

cruisinlarge Posted January 27, 2009 #16 Share Posted January 27, 2009 I have been on Freedom twice and it was great. I waited an hour one day for it. DW almost went back to the room thinking we had missed each other. It is something you don't want to miss if it is available

Alegeeter Posted January 27, 2009 #19 Share Posted January 27, 2009 On the Destiny, Happy Valley is Asian cuisine and it is delicious! They have a different kind of spring roll each day. A different kind of fried rice each day. Then there is some type of noodle dish, beef/pork dish, vegetable dish, fish dish, and soup each day. I always made my stop there to load up, and then usually found a booth right across from it (so I could get seconds easily :))

yogi2929 Posted January 27, 2009 #21 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Paradise just got it. Located outside on the Lido deck. FYI- they just wipe out the pans after each person, so if you have a shellfish allegy be careful.
