Bringing Food Onboard

As an honest answer, SandGnat's reply prompted me to remember, we brought an entire suitcase of food to drop of in Roatan on our last cruise. Cake mixes, icing, canned veggies, pasta, beans.......took it off and on, no issues.

MMMMMMM Spam on the beach.

Spam sushi- take one slab of cooked sushi rice about 3 inches by 1 1/2 inches, add piece of omelet, a slice of spam, put another smaller top of rice, wrap in a piece of seaweed. Great for the beach. And very common on Pacific Islands. I actually rather like it.

But as a drink? I think not.

Hi Everyone.

Sorry it took so long to post back. Thank you for your replies!

Since the recipe is so good I filled out the proper paperwork last night. Just to be safe, I Patented, Copyrighted and Trademarked it. So anyone who tries the recipe officially agrees to take me on their next cruise!! :)

RBF's Smuggler's Spam Martini ® ©

3 oz Everclear 190 proof Grain Alcohol (or moonshine if not available)

1 oz Spam (jelly optional)

1 oz Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

1 Mustard Packet from the Lido Deck

1 oz Free "Sparkling Wine" from an Art Auction

Garnish with an Ocean Players Club casino chip (any denomination)

PS - If you're reading this Carnival, feel free to use this as a DoD. We'll work out the compensation at your earliest convenience!

Are you serious? Sounds awesome to me. I wonder if I pre-heat the spam in my crock pot if it will improve it.

I gotta remember to bring zip-locks to smuggle the warm melting chocolate cake out of the DR. (Shhhhh) ;)

I know on the Destiny, they had warm melting cake in the buffet, that would sure make it easier for you:D

OK people, Meat covered in gelatin is called an Aspic. Popular at the turn of the 1900's. Wow, have tastes changed.

I always bring food on board. Ate it for lunch in the Long Beach terminal, a few weeks ago, when two people decided to leave the ship early and not tell anyone. :( Never anything big, just some candy and Pringles.

Smugglers Spam Martini, is it shaken or stirred?
