Oosterdam and the Bahia Magdelena

Does anyone have a report on the addition of sailing into the Bahia Magdelena for whale and sea life watching? I beleive it was supposed to start in January...?

Just off the O-dam today. On the morning of the second sea day you slowly cruise inside the bay for 2 hours. We were able to see many whales but most were far away.

We just took this cruise in early January. Same itenerary. There was a guide doing a talk on the region if you were in an area to hear her, personally or on the PA. We stayed in our cabin (port side) for the cruise and I couldn't really hear her well.

 

We saw quite a few whales and a couple pods of dolphins - couple whale babys leaping around near their mamas...got some cool pix......
