Small Cruise Line?

My grandma is wanting to take a cruise, she's not a first timer but it has been years. She would like to go on a smaller boat in the Caribbean or Panama Canal. Which line would be best for her?

Our favorite is Oceania--their three ships each hold around 700 passengers.

Princess also has three ships that hold about 700 passengers. They are all sisters of the Oceania ships.

Holland Americas Prinsendam is in the 700 range as well.

Smaller ships are on lines such as Seabourn, Silversea, Regent, Azamara, Oceania, Sea Dream and Crystal. While some wouldn't think Crystal are small ships, they carry less than 1000 passengers.

We'll second Andee's comments about Oceania, also one of our favorites. We liked our first cruise with them on Regatta last year so much (a transatlantic from Barcelona to Miami) that we're going again in Oct on Insignia (Athens to Venice). :)
