Carnival Fantasy Cabins M298 or R298

Posted this on the Carnival Site and someone appropriately suggested it belongs here:

 

Cabins M298 and R298 are shown next to white space (smokestack of the ship most likely). Does anyone have familiarity with cabin noise or other problems? I imagine the cabins are the same for any Carnival ship in this class.

The white area is areas with stairs that crew uses to get from deck to deck. Crew members are not supposed to be in the general vacinity of passenger decks(
