For Quebec, obviously, it can vary (this year, our October was nicer than our July!), but expect cool weather, say in the 40s-50sF. You could see gorgeous sun, or you could see... snow.

In Saint John, New Brunswick the historical average low for October is 36 degrees and the average high is 53 degrees. However there can be quite the deviation as weather is not as consistent/predictable here.

This answer is based on my research because we are going there in October. It will feel much colder than the 50s if you are on or near the water. You will need to dress in layers.
