terrymtex01 Posted February 10, 2009 #177 Share Posted February 10, 2009 GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! NCL called me and saw my post on cruisecritic and have decided to start an investigation. Thats all I really wanted. I understand life is not fair and there are alot of scummy people out there who have no problem taking money away from innocent people. Remember people, BE PART OF THE SOLUTION. Now we can end this forum. Thanks to all who supported me and for all who didn't, Karma will catch up to you! Wow.. so this freedom you have mentioned fighting for did not include people not supporting your opinion? You want Karma to catch up on those who don't agree with you? I'm glad NCL read this thread and saw how many of us are in support of them.
newmexicoNita Posted February 10, 2009 #178 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Ok I understand the whole thing about NCL rents the space to the retailers, but IMO if these retailers are providing a bad service it directly reflects off on NCL, wether it is the retail stores, casinos etc. these services are being provided onboard their ship and if Joe blow doesnt know or even if Joe blow knows these are not NCL stores etc it doesnt look good for NCL, I think they would be better off providing their own services in these areas b/c some off these peeps are really giving NCL a bad rep and this is excatly why NCL should respond.I thought I had read that Harrahs was somehow related to the CAS, I would like to get a definite answer to this. Suni, I agree and no one seems to have an answer: a similar thing happened to us at Harrahs in St Louis (you might know it was Harrah's) they had a $10 watch shop in the hotel. Of course I purchases a couple of watches, got home, the clasp broke on one of them immediately. I let Harrah's know, their response, we only contract out the shops and by the way, they could not provide us with a manager or anyone else at the shop we could contact. For a $10 watch is was no big deal, just the principle of it. Someone should be held responsible in these cases, but it seems like it is the old phase "not my problem" Nita

Sorry, I still don't see why you needed to bash the cruiseline when you were looked after by the manager. Many people reading this thread, don't seem to get that point, as they keep saying you weren't able to return the watch. According to you, you went back, talked to the Manager who not only gave you the MSRP price listed, but 20% off of that and then you trashed his store on the internet. I think there's a bit of karma out there with your name on it too....

mbisson Posted February 11, 2009 #188 Share Posted February 11, 2009 how about the Sun for 2010, we will join you??? Nita You saw me on that thread! It's honestly a serious possibility (in fact the wife now says "hummm, even though I want to do the Harry Potter area of Universal Studios, a b2b might be nice if the price is right" (probably early December). For us a b2b would mean inside cabin to keep the price down-'BUT I CAN LIVE WITH THAT' :D
fin Posted February 11, 2009 #189 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Actually I changed email addresses and opened a new account with cruisecritic.com. So I have been on the board from the beginning. Is it wrong to give people and heads up when you see something misleading? and please people, keep the fact of me being a disabled Veteran out of this forum. and YES, I will remove it from my profile. I have profiles blocked. It was in the body of your post. And you talk about karma.
