Kayaking in Kenai vs Juneau?

To follow my previous post, we could forego the 6 hour Kenai Fjords tour we have scheduled and go kayaking out of Seward instead of trying to fit it into our time in Juneau? Any recommendations either way? Thanks!

The kayaking options are much better in Seward than Juneau. Not sure what exactly you have in mind, but please consider a day paddle to Aialik or Bear Glacier. These are amazing trips where you will see a glacier, calving, floating ice, and tremendous wildlife opportunities. You'll have to pay a little more, but it's worth it. No experience is required.

 

If you were thinking more about paddling in Resurrection Bay, that's still a decent experience and just a bit nicer than anything in Juneau IMO.
