Gem dinning room

Hi all:

I was wondering if one of the dinning rooms that are free, have a sit down dinner with a waiter or are they all get it yourself?

Also I heard that they do not provide trays, so you have to bring you what ever you can carry at once.

Thanks you all so much for your answers.

Also are there hair dryers in the rooms?

The Gem actually has three sit down places to eat and be served that are free: the Grand Pacific which is a large traditional dining room no jeans allowed at night, Magenta a smaller dining room not as nicely decorated as the Grand Pacific but the same menu, and the Blue Lagoon kind of dinerish food. The menu for the Grand Pacific and Magenta change every day.

While the buffet may not have trays, there are a number of staff with trays that will be happy to help you carry your food to the tables.

I'll go one further. They'll not only be happy to carry your tray to the table. They'll carry a tray back to your room, or wherever you're going. I LOVE NCL!!!

And I thank you.
