Ouch! Ricky, you are talking big bucks there for a taxi. Even private transfers are very expensive. I don't know of anyone that just grabs a taxi in Rome for the transfer. It can take anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour to reach the pier and would probably run several hundreds of dollars.

 

You might want to look into private limo service, lots of suggetions online in the ports of call section. Still very expensive, but much less than a taxi. ;)
