Hotel in Piazza Roma

We too are on the Ruby on 6/9 and getting into Venice on 6/8.

We are booked at the Olimpia. Is it fairly easy to get there.?

It is going to be as easy as getting to any hotel in Venice and easier than most. The hotel is right behind (to the south) of the huge P. Roma packing ramp. If the ship is running a shuttle bus, it will run between the ship and P.Roma.

We stayed in Hotel Olimpia a couple of years ago for 2 nights pre cruise. Very Close to Piazzale Roma - just over a couple of bridges. The hotel is near to the place where the bus leaves from. About a 5 min walk from the hotel via the bridges again !

 

We travelled by bus from the airport which cost only a few euros each and was very well sign posted. Bus drops off at the other side of the Piazzale Roma.

We are on the June 9th cruise too. We get into Venice on Sunday, June 7th. Staying at the Hotel Santa Chiara. Highly recommended on these boards.
