rcoaster809 Posted February 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2009 I am looking into booking a forward balcony cabin that connects to an interior room on the Carnival Pride. I searched the boards and found that I should avoid the cabins on the Upper deck due to wind. Is wind a problem for these cabins on the Empress and Verandah decks too? rcoaster809 Posted February 15, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Right now we have standard 8A cabins on the Main deck. We were thinking of upgrading to one of these sets of cabins, but we don't want to if the wind is a problem. Specifically we are looking at the Empress or Verandah deck. rcoaster809 Posted February 15, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted February 15, 2009 I am looking at 3 cabins together. I want the forward two balconies where one connects to an interior cabin, but if wind is a big factor while at sea I think I will just stay with 3 in each cabin in 8As. Here are my options: Upper Deck 5106, 5108, 5110 5105, 5107, 5109 Empress Deck 6108, 6112, 6116 6109, 6115, 6119 Verandah Deck 7106, 7108, 7112 7105, 7107, 7111 I read on here that the cabins on the Upper Deck get windy at sea, but is this the same case for the ones on the Empress and Verandah Decks? Thanks in advance!
SusieCruisie Posted February 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I would think that the higher decks would be windier. Aren't the balconies covered? That should reduce the wind . If anyone has had these cabins, I would also like to know. :)
