Booking Another Cruise while on Board and Saving $$$

and the only answer I remember was that you can buy some sort of gift certificate while on board towards a future cruise. Maybe $100 will get you a $200 future credit, or something like that. Nothing else that I remember. Wife and I will check this personally in 4/09 on our cruise, and check on booking Alaska for 2010. I plan on getting price quotes from PVP/website before sailing in 4/09, then compare to what is offered while on board.

We purchased a certificate on board Freedom for $100.

 

We can use it as part of our payment and will get a $100 additional OBC (on a seven day - OBC is different depending on length of cruise).

 

It is combinable with some of the other offers like past guest.

They only sell them on certain ships. They said they are going to be expanding the program.

 

You pay $100 for a future booking. When you book they take $100 off the total price, (not the deposit). So you basically break even. Then they give you $50 OBC for a short cruise. $100 on 7 day cruises and $200 on longer cruises.

 

You have to use it in 5 years or you can obtain a refund.
