Has anyone ever been in Cozumel for Fat Tuesday? (Not the Bar - the actual day before Lent begins). I've read stories about parades and events - just wondering if anyone's ever witnessed it first hand.

Has anyone ever been in Cozumel for Fat Tuesday? (Not the Bar - the actual day before Lent begins). I've read stories about parades and events - just wondering if anyone's ever witnessed it first hand.

 

It is a weeklong event we call CARNAVAL; not at all unlike the famous New Orleane Mardi Gras events. There are children´s parades and dance contest during the day and an evening parade every night for a week.
