Quark Ship Grounded Off Antarctica

This is the ship I am going on in Dec!! Yikes. If you go to the Quark home page they are posting updates as they find things out. Earlier they were still not able to get off the rocks because of high wind.

I wouldn't worry about a trip in December. Our recent trip on the Orlova was totally fine despite the fact that it had grounded at Deception Island two seasons ago.
