In Nassau late...what to do?

We are in Nassau all night and wanted come off the ship and go somewhere near the port (or at it). What is around there that is still open late at night (and safe) after dinner time. We have never been in port overnight and wanted to come off the ship just to "have done it". Any ideas of where to go/what to do? We are up for anything...

Senor Frogs is right by the dock and fun for some late night drinks!

2nd on The Frog!!!! The drinks are huge and damn good!!! Kinda like Carlos and Charlies bar.:D Not too far to stager back to the ship!

Besides the cheezy Bar scene at Senor frogs and Hard Rock, there are two casinos (Crystal Palace and Atlantis), a comedy club at Atlantis, entertainment at the Cable Beach Resort, Johnny's Rock and Roll club (weekends), Green Parrot Bar and Grill (2 locations). Fish Fry on weekends, and the Marina Village at Atlantis (shops, starbucks, courtyard music etc).

 

It's not recommended that you just walk around town after dark. Most of town is shut down and desolate at nite.

 

Grab a cab from outside the port. They are queued up as long as the ship is at port.

I should have added ... there's a lot to do at the casinos besides gamble; several clubs and some elaborate shows. I seldom so much as dump a coin in the slots, but have spent many evenings in the casinos. Sometimes I just people watch or watched my crew loose at the tables!

Personally, I love cheezy bars! :D And would much rather blow my money there than a casino. Just my preference.
