No use in worrying about the seas---there's no way to predict how rough or calm they'll be, and nothing you can do about it, anyway!

Bring some sort of meds...Bonine, Dramamine, etc..., just in case you need it. Most likely, you won't, but better safe than sorry!

The younger the child, the less likely they are to be bothered! And, if she's not prone to motion sickness on land, she should be ok!

She will more than likely be fine however, there are a couple of things that you can do to help her just in case she experiences some seasickness. Green apples, gingerale and going mid ship around deck 5 or so, looking at the horizon may help as well. The staff are very helpful so just go to the purser's desk and ask for suggestions. When it got really bad for our daughter we gave her medication that they gave us for herl and she slept for the whole afternoon. The Captain told us that we were going to be in rough seas and that he was going off course but that he could not get us to calm seas until dinner time. He was like a clock. We had calm seas around 6 pm and when we look at pictures of her dancing in the disco that night we never would guess how bad she felt at lunchtime.
