What to do with luggage in NYC

We are sailing on the Canada, New England cruise on Sept 30th. There are four of us that are doing our on air. Our return flight isn't until late in the day. Does anyone know what we can do with our luggage while we check out the sites in NY? We are flying into JFK. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Walk over to the Marriott Marquis and tip the bellman well and he will store your luggage. They probably will not ask if you are a hotel guest.
