St. Thomas on Memorial Day?

We will be docked in St. Thomas with the Grandeur of the Seas on Memorial Day. Will we have trouble with things being shut down or on holiday schedules? We are planning to take the ferry over to St. John and go to Trunk Bay. Then, if we have time either a ride up to Paradise Point, or shopping at Havensight.

 

Anyone know if we are going to see any issues, or if things will be on a pretty normal schedule?

 

Six years ago, on our honeymoon, we docked in San Juan on Memorial day and they only thing that was closed was the Bacardi factory.

Ferry will be running, if there is a ship in port then Paradise Point is open, stores will be open, taxis around... like normal. Banks, government offices... will be closed.
