Are there friends of Bill W. meetings on the Eurodam?If so, how are they announced?

yes, they have Friends of Bill W. meetings on the Eurodam, on all the ships in fact. you will see it in the daily program usually around 4pm or 4:30pm in one of the smaller, quieter rooms, depending on what is going on that particular day. :)

If you attend a meeting the first day and nobody shows up do not give up, try the next day. Sometimes other friends of Bill are busy the first day;).

That has been my experience on other cruises as well.It is important for me to attend all.

Not always. On our E'dam cruise once it was at 5:00p in Northern Lights. As 4thDAMgeneration said, check the Daliy Program.

On both of our Eurodam cruises, the majority of the time Friends of Bill W met at 4 PM. One time they met at 4:30 and a couple of times at 5 PM.

On our Noordam cruises they met in the cigar room, at 4:30. That room may be a thing of the past now, I think. But, yes, they have a meeting scheduled every day, even the first day. As someone else said, if no one else shows up that day, don't give up, they may all be attending sail away parties, or looking for luggage! In my case, I just didn't read the daily program until later that night. The group on the last cruise I was on was the most memorable one ever.

Oh S**t, im so sorry I had no idea they are for AA members. I will leave the six pack in the cabin. If it was up to my wife, she would have me at those meetings for sure. It would not hurt, i do have some serious issues.

Only the Noordam and Oosterdam still have the Oak Room, and after Apr 24 this year it will be only the Noordam.

I loved the Oak Room. A very refined and dignified place, albeit, a bit smokey. :)
