Question about DVD players in Balcony rooms.

Does anyone know if the Golden Princess Balcony rooms have a DVD player in them. Our previous two cruises were in mini-suites and I never even noticed if they had DVD players. But even if they did, that would not mean that a balcony cabin would, so input by anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

The Golden does not have DVD players (or the plugs to hook up a portable DVD player) in the balcony rooms. The ship is going into drydock in April and will probably be getting flatscreen TV's (which may have the plugs for a portable DVD). However, on our Hawaii cruise last month there were no plugs or DVD player.

Dry dock, wet dock, no dock. No cabin will have a DVD player other than the full suites. I sometimes (on very long cruises) bring my own and just plug it into a regular outlet. I have a 9" screen; big enough.

Can't you get a cable to connect it to the new flat screen TV's, since they have the input connections?

I thought the info for the cabin I booked on the CB(A-751) stated that we indeed do have a DVD player in the cabin.. I dont think it is a "full suite"

I'm basically electronically challenged, but I like the up close and personal screen; can even watch it on the balcony.

I brought my ipod on the last few cruises with loads of movies to watch & never got to see one. I find to many other things to grab my attention. :p:D

Yes, it is indeed a PS (which is a full suite) and you WILL have a DVD player in that suite. ;) Enjoy!
